The honing machine utilizes one or more oil stones installed on the circumference of the honing head, and the oil stones are radially expanded by an expansion mechanism (including rotary and push type) to press them towards the wall of the workpiece hole, in order to generate a certain amount of contact. Simultaneously causing the honing head to rotate and reciprocate, the parts remain stationary or the honing head only rotates, and the workpiece reciprocates, thus achieving honing.
The feeding method of the honing head is mainly divided into quantitative feeding and constant pressure feeding. During quantitative feed honing, the feed mechanism expands the feed at a constant speed, forcing the abrasive particles to cut into the workpiece. When the cutting force decreases due to blockage of the oilstone, the feed rate is greater than the actual grinding amount, and the honing pressure increases, causing the abrasive particles to fall off and break. Enhanced cutting effect. When feeding under constant pressure, due to the uneven surface of the workpiece, it is necessary to adjust the feed amount of the honing head in real time to ensure that the workpiece bears a constant grinding force.
In order to maintain the normal working state of the honing machine, the following points should be noted during use:
1. Regularly inspect electrical circuits and replace any damaged ones immediately; Check all components of the equipment and immediately reinforce any loose ones; Add lubricating oil to the oil injection hole;
2. Before starting work, try to turn on the machine once to avoid any debris; After work, clean the inside of the machine and keep the equipment clean;
3. Regular maintenance work should be carried out, including cleaning of exhaust slots and holes. If there is gas burning or trapping, it should be promptly eliminated and the worn parts should be repaired in a timely manner;
4. During maintenance, it is necessary to pay attention to the cleaning of stolen goods, check the working position and spring for any signs of burns or fractures. If such phenomena occur, timely repair should be carried out; Records need to be kept after maintenance;
5. Whether the inlet and outlet channels of the grinding fluid are blocked and need to be kept unobstructed, and lubricating oil needs to be added to the moving position;
6. The maintenance of the appearance of the equipment requires professional personnel to prevent rusting. During mold removal, anti rust oil needs to be sprayed, and when the equipment is stored, it needs to be covered to prevent dust from covering the working surface.
